Fields, lakesides, sake breweries ... We seek out attractive locations throughout Fukushima Prefecture at unusual destinations and open a one-day outdoor restaurant under the blue sky.
You will be amazed when, in the abundant fields you see, touch, and experience the crops grown there and dine at the table alongside the growers.
This is a gourmet experience which gives you the opportunity to wholly appreciate the local people and culture.
We call this “Food Camp”.
What is “Food Camp”?
A tour in which you will experience the local culture and climate through its food.
You can feel the various cultures and charms of Fukushima through the delicious food borne of the local climate and the experience of having meals in the fields where the produce is grown.
Spectacular dining created by farmers and chefs.
Enjoy once-in-a-lifetime cuisine at the one-day open-air restaurant created by combining the wonderful producers of Fukushima and its talented chefs.
Taxi pickup and drop-off service for all tours.
All tours include a taxi pick up and drop off service to your home in Koriyama City or to Koriyama Station.
Solo participants are encouraged to join.
The taxi service is available for those wishing to consume alcohol or carry souvenirs.
Please enjoy the tour as much as you can.
Food Camp has won the “Good Life Award” prize from the Environmental Ministry.
The Good Life Award that the Ministry of the Environment hosts is a project to commend meaningful activities that promote the environment and society.
On the seventh time it was on offer, in 2019 we were honoured to receive the "Minister of the Environment Prize" out of a record 243 applicants.
